To show our development with filming, this is where we're at thus far, and it's nearing completion!
We have had to change a lot of our initial storyboard due problems in filming. When we filmed the long/establishing shots which were meant to be at the beginning, the lighting was either far too low or too bright in the different locations, and we found it very hard to fit them in with the fast-paced, dark shots in the rest of the trailer. With our music we also found that these long-lengthed shots didn't fit. So, we decided to abolish the whole idea and go with fast shots to start, though still not as fast (due to fade-to-black effects in between shots) as later in the trailer when the music crescendos.
After analysis of what we have, there are still things we need to consider. Perhaps most importantly, the music needs to be in time with the shots and fit in with the flashes and jumpy shots. In a couple of shots (e.g. at 0:17) we might need to add transitions, for example more fade-to-blacks, as the actual shots have imperfections and do not finish correctly. The speed of the shots may need altering, not only to fit in with the music but add to the pace. We may also need to add some further colour alterations, as to make sure they are not utterly dissimilar. The typography at the end with the title and release date still needs finalising and we may need to add some more information with the date. Flash images of sponsors (Ghost House/Twisted Pictures) may also appear towards the beginning.
